One very hot summer day, the Zion's Warriors had a Snow Day at the Mundy home. We had 3 games. Keep in mind it was very hot!!! All the kids were told to wear stocking hats and gloves. They didn't know what crazy things we would do. Everyone came dressed for the cold weather and went out to the front yard. First we had a snow ball fight. We divided into 2 teams. Each team was given a big bowls of marshmallow's for a "snow ball fight" They threw "snow balls" back and forth and after 2 minutes we counted to see who had the most on their side. We then had a rematch and the same team won again. The previous night, God had given us a "melted snow storm" which made the game even more exciting. The marshmallows became very wet and sticky! Next we had a snow ball eating contest (powdered donuts) I think the record was 6 in 30 seconds. Last we told the warriors to prepare for an avalanche. Again we divided into 2 teams. 1 person laid down on the ground, and their partner had a spoon with a bowl of ice cream. The ice cream was topped with chocolate syrup and whip cream. The team members stood above their partner. From their chin they were to see how much ice cream they could get into their partners mouth. One team member got smart and made the ice cream soupy and poured it into her partner's mouth. To finish off the fun, we went inside for pizza and we watched Ice Age. It was a great time!!!! |
